Patty Azzarello

Patty Azzarello is an executive with more than 25+ years of experience working in high tech and business. In addition to her roles as CMO for Seibel and Polycom, Patty has held leadership roles in General Management, Software Product Development and Sales. She has been successful in running and transforming large and small businesses, and has significant international management experience. Patty Azzarello became the youngest general manager at HP at the age of 33. She ran a $1B software business at the age of 35 and became a CEO for the first time at the age of 38 (without turning into a self-centered, miserable jerk). Patty was recently featured in Forbes magazine in a column called Women We Love. Other prior roles have included: Vice President and General Manager of HP OpenView and President and CEO of Euclid Software. Patty Azzarello is the founder of Azzarello Group, which works with Marketing, Sales, and Business leadership teams to help their businesses (and people) get better at what they do. She is the author of the best selling book RISE: 3 Practical Steps to Advancing Your Career, Standing Out as a Leader (and Liking Your Life). Patty is an avid scuba diver and cyclist, and has been a singer in Rock band.

Phil Fernandez

Phil is a Silicon Valley veteran, with 30 years of experience (including a couple of successful IPOs) in building and managing breakout technology companies. Before Marketo, he was president and COO of Epiphany, a public enterprise software company known for its visionary marketing products. Formerly, Phil was COO and SVP of products and services at Red Brick Systems and held leadership positions at Metaphor Computer Systems, Stanford University Medical Center, and Masstor Systems. He is the author of Revenue Disruption, published by John Wiley and Sons, which delivers bold new strategies for any company to transform its sales and marketing to accelerate revenue growth. He has been named one of the “50 Most Influential People in Sales Lead Management” four years running and BtoB Magazine acknowledged him as a “Who’s Who” in B-to-B Demand Generation for the last three. Phil holds a bachelor’s degree from Stanford University.

Sanjay Dholakia

Sanjay is responsible for extending Marketo’s product leadership, developing business segments, and establishing a new solution ecosystem to increase the company’s reach. Sanjay joins Marketo from Crowd Factory, where as CEO, he was responsible for the strategic direction and vision of the company. Prior to Crowd Factory, Sanjay was CMO at Lithium Technologies, the leading provider of Social CRM solutions. While at Lithium, he helped achieve dramatic year-over-year growth as well as significantly increasing the company’s valuation. Prior to joining Lithium, he served as SVP and general manager for SumTotal Systems, and was an advisor at McKinsey & Company and Andersen Consulting. Sanjay holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA in strategy and marketing from the Kellogg School of Management.

In the realm of disruptive technologies, Jeremiah is frequently sought after and has appeared on Bloomberg TV and has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, USAToday, and other technology and business related publications. He was featured in the 2009 “Who’s Who” in the Silicon Valley Business Journal.

Mary Bermel

Mary Bermel is Vice President, Demand Generation for CA Technologies, a leading enterprise software company. She heads the Demand Generation Center of Excellence and is responsible for the central design and optimization of end-to-end digital demand generation processes from inquiry to contract with relentless focus on marketing’s contribution to the business. It’s her belief that digital marketing is core to B2B demand generation with the philosophy that every digital interaction with a customer or prospect must create an amazing experience. She joined CA Technologies in 2010.

Bermel’s experience includes 20 years in marketing where she led a variety of positions in all facets of marketing. Before joining CA Technologies, she served as Category Development Officer for Yahoo where she focused on delivering advertising solutions to Fortune 500 technology, telecommunications and retail companies.

Prior to joining Yahoo, Bermel ran interactive and emerging media worldwide for Hewlett Packard. She oversaw online global sponsorships, partnerships and brand positioning efforts and chaired HP’s worldwide interactive and search council. She was a frequent speaker and presenter at industry conferences, focusing on the importance of digital in the marketing mix. Bermel was honored as Mediapost’s Online All-Star for 2006 and MIXX marketer of the year in 2006.

Bermel has a degree in political science from Queen’s University in Canada. She lives in Littleton, Massachusetts with her husband, Paul and rescue dog, Oakley. Her two children in college ensure weekends are busy attending college functions and watching lacrosse.
