Marketo University Courses

Join us for a full day of training on Tuesday May 22 from 9:00am to 4:00pm! These sessions all include hands-on exercises to build in your own Marketo instance. The cost is $495 per person. Materials for all sessions, continental breakfast, and lunch are included in the fee.

Please bring your laptop with wireless access to participate in these hands-on sessions.

Please note that pre-requisites vary by session. If you are new to Marketo, you can acquire pre-requisite knowledge by taking advantage of our University content available now in our Customer Community: Tutorials, On-Demand recordings, and/or the Marketo Foundation course.

Dynamic Content: Concepts, use cases and workshop (3 hours)

In this session, you’ll be building out a Segment with Segmentations, creating a Snippet, and applying Dynamic Content in an email and landing page.

Prerequisites:
You have working knowledge of Marketo global/local Smart Lists, Emails, and Landing Pages.

  • Find and group leads for targeted messaging with Segments and Segmentations
  • Learn how to make and use static and dynamic Snippets
  • Use Dynamic Content in your emails and landing pages

Marketo Programs A to Z (3 hours)

In this session, you’ll be building out a Marketo Program using the latest best practices.

Prerequisites:
You know how to create Campaigns and creative assets in Marketo.

  • Beginning with the end in mind: do you know your cost per lead and which programs are most successful?
  • Learn about channels, tags, progression steps, success, membership, acquisition status
  • Know when and why to create custom channels and tags
  • The Cost tag and cost per lead
  • Local and Global Assets
  • Optimize your Programs for great reporting in Lead Management and in Revenue Cycle Analytics

Better Emails and Landing Pages (1.5 Hours)

In this session, you’ll build Marketo creative assets using the new features in our Design Editor, taking advantages of our best practices.

Prerequisites:
You know the basics of creating Marketo Emails and Landing Pages.

  • How to build an email for deliverability and click-through
  • Best practices in building Marketo Landing Pages and FormsUsing and Modifying Templates
  • Tokens and Personalization

Marketo Revenue Cycle Analytics Workshop
(1.5 hrs)

In this session, you may follow along in your own Marketo Instance.

Prerequisites:
Revenue Cycle Explorer and working knowledge of Marketo Programs and Lead Management Reports. Suggested: An activated Revenue Cycle Modeler.

  • Extend your Marketo Programs for maximum reporting in RCA
  • Take advantage of Attribution and Analyzers
  • Learn how to set up your Marketo Data for optimal reporting
  • Follow a use case to learn how to build an Explorer report
